welcome to the acidbase database

this site allows you to:

- analyse acidbase data according to the physicochemical or Stewart approach

- calculate other data like anion gap and osmolar gap

- retrieve series of these data for the same case later on
(a case-id will be automatically assigned, and you can choose a unique case-name)

- simulate changes in the basic variables, running a pH-calculation
(for instance - what would the patient's serum pH be, if her/his albumin were normal?)

- do searches on all the datasets in the database
what do you want to do?
use this link, if you want to analyse new data:
I want to enter new data
follow this link, if you want to search for data already registered:
I want to search the database

this is work in progress!
we have only just reached a stage, where we dare present it to potential users out in the wide, wide world
- so be patient, with eventual shortcomings and the rather austere html-style
(almost no graphics, no fancy film sequences and gimmicks ....
this may be appreciated, though, by people with anything less than a broadband connection and the latest processor in their PC)

please tell us about bugs, write about your suggestions!
